<p>Only after qualifying the Foundation stage of the ICSI/Graduation degree or a Master&#8217;s degree/Pass in ICWAI, ICAI, you become eligible to get enrolment to the intermediate course which is of 9 months duration.</p>
<p><strong>Final Course:</strong></p>
<p>Those who qualify even the Intermediate level become eligible to go for the Final Course. And once you pass the final stage, you will have to undergo a practical training session of 1-2 years under a qualified Company Secretary practising for a long time or with a Company to be absolutely eligible for the Associate Membership of the Institute.</p>

With a view to standardize the quality and quantity of professionals dealing with accountancy work, there has been founded an Accountancy Association in all the countries of the world. In India it is known as the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI).</p>

<p><strong>CA as the Best Career option</strong></p>
<p>There is no scarcity of jobs for Chartered Accountants and it is true that it is one of the best career options in terms of both financial gain and prestige. After attaining the membership to the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, you can either go for public practice or work with any organization at the private or public sector or sector. So it is all up to you to decide what you want to do.</p>
<p><strong>Eligibility for CA courses: </strong>You are required to have the 10+2 exam for PE-1. The minimum duration for this level of study is ten months.</p>
<p><strong>For PE-2:</strong> You are required to qualifying either the PE-1 or Foundation course to obtain an eligibility certificate meant for both the groups from the Board of studies.<br />
<strong>For Final:</strong> Only after passing the Intermediate or PE-2 exam, you become eligible for this final level. Apart from these three stages, it is mandatory for you to compete the practical training session of two and half years and 15 days’ GMC program. Having done all these things you can go for the membership to the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.</p>
