<p>The degree you are required to obtain to be a computer engineer is B.E / B.Tech/M.E or you should have in any case a diploma in Computer Engineering.</p>
<p>The educational eligibility required for a BE/B.Tech in Computer Engineering is 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM). The eligibility required for Diploma in Computer Engineering is 10 + 2 with Science Subjects.</p>
<p>Duration: BE / B.Tech in Computer Engineering is a 4 year program with 8 semesters. But the Diploma in Computer Engineering is only a 3 year program. If you go for ME/ M.Tech, it will be 2 years with 4 semesters.</p>
<p><strong>Career Options: </strong></p>
<p>Computing professionals work for a very large domain involving IT applications such as research, academia, industry, private, government, and business organizations. So after the successful completion of the course, you can work in domains like Artificial Intelligence, Computer Design and Engineering, Computer Architecture, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Theory, Operating Systems and Networks, Software Applications and the like.</p>
